(MENAFN - Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) President of the Kuwaiti Society for the Ideal Family Sheikha Fariha Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah said here on Saturday women have great capabilities for successfully managing financial, service and administrative agencies.

Addressing an international conference on women entrepreneurs' role in investment held here, she said women play a pioneering role in overcoming global crises, easing out financial burdens and drawing investors.

Women have worked together with men in order to ensure the goodness and interest of families, individuals and societies by means of harnessing all their creative capabilities for all-out human, economic and social development, Sheikha Fariha said.

Women have also worked hard to effectively cntribute to the provision of jobs, reduction of unemployment and curtailment of inflations rates, she pointed out.

Underscoring the significance of the international conference on women entrepreneurs, she said it attracted governmental officials and representatives from national and international institutions and agencies, together with a galaxy of women entrepreneurs and economists.

This gathering will certainly boost gains obtained by Arab women in their careers through broadening the scope of communication with their counterparts in western countries, Sheikha Fariha remarked.

The gathering, which concludes on Sunday, is expected to come up with a resolution authorizing a league of Arab Maghreb businesswomen a la the Federation of Arab Businesswomen.
