Italians march in protest against racism

(MENAFN) Thousands of people compassionate with the violation against African citizens caused by a far-right extremist with racist intentions have engaged in a march after a week after the incident.
People in Macerata have had the schools and some shops shut for the fear of any possible conflict between the protesters and neo-fascist allies. The mayor, Romano Carancini, requested to stop protests till the local community adjusts after Saturdays' attack.
But with many outstanding groups and faces of anti-fascist appearing, the government had to make a decision of allowing the rally to finally start, thus it was broadcasted live state TV channel RAI News 24.
Demonstrators marched peacefully , however, on Feb. 3, man named Luca Traini, 28, an ally of far-right aimlessly gun fired six citizens, five men and a woman, Traini was arrested shortly after and confessed to his crime. People witnessed such a horrific shock on Feb.3 but later on, the police chief issued a statement of banning the supporters of far- right.
