Qatar- Diversion on East Industrial Road from tomorrow

Doha: The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) will start a temporary diversion on part of the north-bound lanes of East Industrial Road, for 2.76km from Street 23 (near Al Watan petrol Station) to Street 10 (near Woqod Petrol Station).
The diversion will be implemented from tomorrow and last until mid-July, in coordination with the Traffic Police Department. Traffic on the closed section of the road will be diverted to the adjacent service roads, where the number of lanes will be reduced from five to two, as shown in the map.
Speed limit will be reduced to 50kmph along the diversion route to ensure the safety of road users and the project’s workforce.
Ashghal will install road signs advising motorists of the diversion and has urged road users to abide by speed limits and follow signs for safety.
