US Tech-Heavy Index Rises, Blue-Chips Slide Oil Stabilizes
New York, June 8 (Petra) -- The tech-heavy US Nasdaq index rose 220 points on Monday, closing at 25,929 points.
Conversely, the Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 80 points to close at 50,786 points, while the S&P 500 index ticked up by approximately 22 points to settle at 7,405 points.
Meanwhile, West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude oil stabilized, holding at $91.23 per barrel.
