7 Killed, Dozens Injured In Israeli Strikes On Apartment, Civilian Vehicle In Gaza City

Gaza, May 15 (Petra)-- The death toll from Israeli occupation attacks on Gaza City on Friday evening rose to seven, with dozens more injured after Israeli warplanes targeted a residential apartment and a civilian vehicle in two separate strikes.

Palestinian sources said the first strike hit an apartment in the "Al-Mu'taz" building behind the Kazem area in central Gaza City, while the second attack targeted a civilian vehicle on Al-Wehda Street near the Abu Asi station.

Meanwhile, Gaza's Civil Defense said one of its crew members sustained moderate injuries after falling while attempting to contain a massive fire that erupted inside the targeted apartment. The injured rescuer was transferred to Al-Shifa Hospital for treatment.
