Renewed Airstrikes Across Gaza Leave Four Dead

(MENAFN) Four Palestinians were killed and several others sustained injuries, including minors, during a series of Israeli aerial attacks across the Gaza Strip on Thursday, marking what medical sources described as continued ceasefire violations.

According to the sources, two individuals were killed and multiple others injured when a drone strike hit a gathering of civilians in Jabalia, located in northern Gaza.

They also reported that a young man was fatally shot by an Israeli sniper close to a UN medical facility inside the Jabalia refugee camp. Witnesses stated that an Israeli drone later released an explosive on a group of people attempting to recover the bodies of the victims. The deceased was eventually taken to Al-Shifa Hospital in western Gaza City.

The sources further confirmed that another 25-year-old man was killed in a separate drone strike in the same area of Jabalia.

In a related incident, a Palestinian man suffered injuries after being struck by Israeli gunfire in the Al-Salatin neighborhood of Beit Lahia in northern Gaza.

In the southern part of the territory, a medical source said three children were admitted to Nasser Medical Complex, located west of Khan Younis, following an Israeli strike near the Bani Suheila roundabout east of the city. The source added that one of the children was in critical condition.

Witnesses said the children were hurt while they were gathering firewood.
