Russians Strike Commuter Train In Zaporizhzhia Region Injuries Reported


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) According to Ukrinform, Ukrzaliznytsia reported this on Facebook.

It is noted that the strike occurred near one of the train cars. The company's monitoring center warned the locomotive crew of an aerial threat, after which the train was stopped, and passenger evacuation began.

“Time was extremely limited, so, according to preliminary information, two passengers who had not yet managed to evacuate sustained shrapnel wounds. All circumstances are being clarified,” the statement reads.

The injured were given first aid and handed over to medical personnel. Railway workers are accompanying the passengers to the medical facility.

Ukrzaliznytsia is currently working to restore train service on the section and continues to monitor the security situation in the region.

As reported, the Russian army attacked civilian infrastructure in the Odesa region with drones and missiles overnight, resulting in two casualties.
