I am a specialist in the colonial and revolutionary periods of United States history. My recent book, Remembering John Adams: The Second President in History, Memory and Popular Culture examines the various ways John Adams has been depicted in history and memory. I have recently been added to the circle of scholars at the Adams Memorial Foundation. In addition, I have published "Based On a Ture Story: Remembering the American Revolution Through Film" for the H-Net Journal Remembering the American Revolution at 250.
