Ukraine Hits Russian Military Trains, Oil Refinery, Air Defense Assets Overnight


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook.

A fire was recorded at the Yaroslavl oil refinery following the strike.

The Yaroslavl refinery is a strategically important facility and one of the key enterprises in Russia's oil refining industry. Its processing capacity is around 15 million tons of oil per year. The plant produces gasoline, diesel fuel, and jet fuel, which are critical for the logistics of the Russian military.

The extent of the damage is being clarified.

Military trains were also struck hear the settlements of Menchuhove and Kelerivka in temporarily occupied parts of the Donetsk region.

Following earlier strikes on April 24, 2026, hits were confirmed on a Kasta-2E1 radar station in Melitopol, Zaporizhzhia region, and a Pantsir-S1 air defense system in Mariupol, Donetsk region.

Enemy losses and the scale of damage are being assessed.

As previously reported by Ukrinform, temporarily occupied Crimea came under a massive drone attack overnight on April 26, with explosions reported near the Kacha and Belbek airfields, as well as in Balaklava, Sevastopol and surrounding areas, Fiolent, Sapun Hill, and the Bakhchysarai district.
