Gun Attack In Wana Leaves One Dead, Wapda Official Critically Wounded

(MENAFN- Tribal News Network) A tragic firing incident occurred in the Wana area of Lower South Waziristan, leaving an SDO of WAPDA injured while his brother lost his life.

According to sources, unidentified armed men opened fire in the Sarki Kot area of Kari Kot, critically injuring SDO WAPDA Noor Aslam. His brother, Muhammad Aslam, who was associated with the health department, died on the spot.

Following the incident, both were shifted to Wana Headquarters Hospital, where Noor Aslam is receiving emergency medical treatment.

Initial reports suggest that the motive behind the attack remains unclear, and no group has claimed responsibility so far.

Police have taken notice of the incident, launched an investigation, and are collecting evidence from the scene.
