Erdogan Meets Iraqi Kurdish Counterpart
(MENAFN) Recep Tayyip Erdogan met with Nechirvan Barzani on Saturday on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum 2026, according to reports.
The meeting took place at the hotel where Erdogan was staying in southern Türkiye and was attended by senior Turkish officials, including Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and Energy and Natural Resources Minister Alparslan Bayraktar.
Erdogan has been conducting a series of bilateral meetings during the forum, which has gathered world leaders and high-level officials in Antalya to discuss global and regional issues.
On the second day of the event, he held a working breakfast with members of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, including Željka Cvijanović, Denis Bećirović, and Željko Komšić.
He also met separately with several heads of state, including Nataša Pirc Musar, Azali Assoumani, Félix Tshisekedi, and Évariste Ndayishimiye.
In addition, Erdogan held talks with Abdulhamid Dbeibeh.
According to reports, the forum continues through Sunday in the Mediterranean city of Antalya, bringing together global leaders for discussions focused on managing international uncertainty. The event is held under the auspices of the Turkish presidency and organized by the Turkish Foreign Ministry under the theme “Mapping Tomorrow, Managing Uncertainties.”
