Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau met with President Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo of Equatorial Guinea in Washington, D.C. today. The two leaders discussed opportunities to further deepen bilateral commercial engagement and bolster border and maritime security partnerships. Deputy Secretary Landau recognized growing opportunities for U.S. private sector investment, including recent major agreements with U.S. oil companies.
