Israeli Cabinet Discusses Temporary Hezbollah Ceasefire Proposal

However, Israel’s security establishment is said to remain divided, with some officials arguing that military operations in southern Lebanon should continue. They reportedly view ongoing ground activity as necessary to weaken Hezbollah and enforce disarmament efforts south of the Litani River.
