(MENAFN- UkrinForm) According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Facebook.

"As part of efforts to counter the enemy's use of operational-tactical aviation, the infrastructure of the Maykop military airfield [Republic of Adygea, Russia] was recently struck. According to preliminary information, infrastructure facilities at the airfield were hit," the statement said.

In addition, the General Staff clarified the results of the strike on the Russian military-industrial complex enterprise Kremniy El in Bryansk.

"In particular, the main production building [which manufactures integrated microchips for ballistic, cruise, and anti-aircraft missiles of various types] was hit. As a result of the strike, a fire broke out over an area of about 1,000 square meters, followed by the collapse of the roof of the building," the General Staff reported.

A warehouse used to store components for the production of microchips was also struck. The fire there covered an area of about 400 square meters. Production at the enterprise has been halted for approximately six months.
