Former Bannu Tehsil Nazim, Prominent Lawyer Killed In Property Dispute Shooting

Former Tehsil Nazim of Bannu and well-known lawyer Malik Nematullah Khan Advocate succumbed to his injuries in the hospital after being critically wounded in a firing incident during a property dispute in Mandan, Fazal Shah Mita Khel area of Tehsil Bannu.

Malik Nematullah Khan Advocate had been injured on 7th January along with close relatives during the shooting and was receiving treatment in the hospital but could not survive.

The late Malik Nematullah Khan Advocate had previously served as Tehsil Nazim Bannu and was also a member of the Bannu District Bar Association.

According to the police, the death toll in the Fazal Shah Mita Khel incident has risen to four, while four others were injured.

The police stated that from one side, Ajab Khan son of Abdul Rahim and Roshan son of Amir Nawaz were killed on the spot, while Malik Nematullah Advocate was critically injured.

In the same incident, Haroon, Babar son of Ajab Khan, and Yaseen son of Shah Naraz were also injured.

From the other side, Hassan son of Muhammad Ayub Khan was killed during the firing, while a passerby, Murad Khan son of Amir Abdullah, was also injured.
