Defense Forces Hit Oil Depot In Belgorod Region And Russian Military Warehouse In Donetsk Region - General Staff


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Facebook.

“As part of efforts to reduce the offensive capabilities of the Russian aggressor, on the night of January 7, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck the Oskolneftesnab oil depot near the village of Kotel in the Belgorod region of the Russian Federation. The oil depot is used to supply fuel to the occupying army,” the General Staff said.

As a result of the strikes on the tanks, a large-scale fire broke out at the facility.

Also, in order to disrupt Russian logistics in the Donetsk region, a warehouse of material and technical resources of the 20th Motorized Rifle Division of the Russian Federation was hit.

The extent of the damage in both cases is being clarified.

In addition, preliminary assessments indicate that two RVS-5000 vertical tanks were damaged at the Temp strategic reserve oil depot in the Yaroslavl region of the Russian Federation.

As reported by Ukrinform, on January 7, Belgorod region governor Vyacheslav Gladkov announced a fire at an oil depot in the Stary Oskol distric following an attack by Ukrainian drones.
