Tunisia Records Tourism Boom In 2025
Surpassing 11 million tourists, the country exceeded the targets set by the Ministry of Tourism. Revenue rose by 6.3% compared with the same period last year.
In 2024, Tunisia welcomed 10.26 million international tourists, generating about USD 2.55 billion in revenue. By December 22, there had already been an increase in both tourist arrivals and sector revenue with this level of activity.
According to the Central Bank, demand from neighboring countries for Tunisia as a tourist destination played a central role in the country's 2025 performance. Algeria and Libya were the main sources of visitors, maintaining figures similar to 2024, with around 3.5 million Algerians and 2.25 million Libyans.
Arrivals from Europe totaled 2.5 million tourists, with France as the main source market.
