Fifty Ukrainians Deported From US Returned To Ukraine Via Shehyni Checkpoint SBGS
"Today, 50 citizens were returned from the United States via the Shehyni checkpoint on the border with Poland. They were documented with the appropriate documents confirming their Ukrainian citizenship or documents allowing their return," Demchenko said.
According to the spokesperson, Ukraine had previously received information from the U.S. regarding plans, in accordance with international law, to deport several individuals without U.S. citizenship, who are originally from Ukraine, via transit through Poland.

He stressed that Ukraine accepts its citizens in all cases. The circumstances that led to the decision to deport these individuals are still being clarified, he added.
