Dhaka: The Tashkent International Tourism Fair (TITF), also known as Tourism on the Silk Road, will return from 27 to 29 November 2025 for its landmark 30th edition at the CAEx International Exhibition Centre in Uzbekistan's capital.

Organised by the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change, the Tourism Committee, the National PR Centre and Interforum agency, the fair is supported by Uzbekistan Airways as its general partner.

The event is widely regarded as the most influential tourism fair in Central Asia and receives official backing from the UN World Tourism Organisation.

TITF has grown into a key platform for the global travel industry, fostering cooperation, knowledge sharing, and tourism promotion.

The 2024 edition drew more than 1,500 participants from local and international organisations, with over 13,500 visitors from 30 countries. Last year's event generated more than 8,000 signed agreements and 20,000 business negotiations.

The 2025 fair will host delegates from tourism boards, tour operators, transport companies, hotel groups, educational institutions and diplomatic circles. MICE tourism, a growing focus in Uzbekistan, will feature prominently. Over 300 companies will exhibit, while more than 140 chefs will participate in a dedicated gastro bazaar.

A specialised Media Campus will provide an interactive platform for journalists, bloggers and tourism specialists. The programme will include forums on aviation, environmental challenges, tourism education and pilgrimage travel.

Business-to-business meetings, exhibitions of handicrafts and tourism services, and roundtable discussions will remain central. Up to 15,000 visitors are expected, including Uzbek residents and guests from the Commonwealth of Independent States, Asia and Europe.

Travel Tomorrow, the official media partner, said the fair will highlight Uzbekistan's cultural richness, sustainable development efforts, and growing role in global tourism.
