Qatar State Budget Records QAR 1.4 Billion


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) DOHA, Nov 13 (KUNA) -- The Qatari Ministry of Finance announced Thursday that the state's public budget recorded a deficit of QAR 1.432 billion during the third quarter of 2025 (July, August, and September), which was financed through debt instruments, according to the official Qatari news agency.
In a statement published on its official X platform, the Ministry explained that total revenues for the aforementioned quarter amounted to approximately QAR 49.155 billion, a decrease of 4.1 percent compared to Q3 of 2024.
Total expenditures reached approximately QAR 50.587 billion, a decrease of 1.2 percent compared to the same quarter of 2024.
The statement added that oil revenues during the third quarter of 2025 amounted to QAR 43.356 billion, while non-oil revenues reached QAR 5.799 billion, based on an average oil price of USD 68.1 per barrel during the same period.
The Ministry of Finance indicated that expenditures during the same quarter were distributed as follows: QAR 17.190 billion for salaries and wages, QAR 19.597 billion for current expenditures, while major capital expenditures amounted to QAR 12.623 billion, and minor capital expenditures amounted to QAR 1.177 billion.
