Made By Me 8 Reflects Belief In Abilities, Potential Of Persons With Disabilities

KUWAIT, Nov 13 (KUNA) -- The launch of the eighth rehabilitation workshops festival "Made by Me 8" on Thursday reflected society's strong belief in the abilities and potential of persons with disabilities across various fields.
The event featured wide participation and cooperation among supporting entities, underscoring their role in empowering this group to achieve greater productivity and integration.
Held under the patronage and in the presence of Ahmadi Governor Sheikh Humoud Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, the festival presented a range of artistic performances highlighting students' talents and their ability to communicate and express themselves in an atmosphere of encouragement and positive support.
The event also witnessed the opening of the first exhibition for productive families of ICAN Foundation students, reflecting the Public Authority for Disability Affairs' efforts to promote work, self-reliance, and skill development, thereby enabling students' effective participation in society.
