Arab Education Cntr Convenes In Kuwait On Digital Curricula Revamp

KUWAIT, Nov 6 (KUNA) -- The Gulf Arab States Educational Research Center (GASERC) held a regional meeting in Kuwait on Thursday on the development of digital curricula content, with GCC educational experts and officials attending.
Speaking to KUNA, the center's director Mohammad Al- Sharika said digital content transformation is deemed a core pillar of educational development, commending the member states' education ministries for their curricula revamp efforts.
He said that the center is carrying out qualitative educational projects aiming at upgrading education quality and curricula in line with state-of-the-art digital mythologies.
The GASERC's chief pointed out that the Kuwait-hosted meeting is part of events and activities organized by the center to unify Gulf efforts to achieve digital education in member states.
The gathering is mainly intended to bolster the capabilities of workers in the fields of developing digital curricula and reviewing global trends of producing the digital educational content as per educational quality criteria.
The Gulf Arab States Educational Research Center was founded in 1977 and has taken up work at its headquarters in Kuwait in 1979.
GASERC participates in developing the educational process in the Member States by ensuring the adequacy, the updating and the integration of that process to make it an effective factor in developing human resources and supporting the social and economic development of the Member States in particular and the Arab world in general.
