Wadi Jeddah and Jeddah Municipality Sign Agreement to Enhance Digital Transformation and Innovation in Municipal Services
(MENAFN- Golin Mena) [Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia – 06 November 2025] – Wadi Jeddah Company, the investment and innovation arm of King Abdulaziz University, announced the signing of a cooperation agreement with the Jeddah Municipality during the Digital Government Forum, a national platform that brings together public and private sector leaders to advance digital transformation and exchange knowledge in the fields of innovation and technology.
Representing Wadi Jeddah at the signing was Eng. Abdulrahman Saleh Badhdhah, General Manager of Investment, while Mr. Yasser Al-Shareef, Deputy Mayor of Jeddah for Strategic Planning represented the Jeddah Municipality.
The agreement aims to strengthen collaboration in innovation and entrepreneurship, in alignment with Saudi Vision 2030, and to contribute to raising the digital maturity index, supporting sustainability initiatives, and improving smart city performance indicators. It also focuses on empowering the municipality’s efforts in digital transformation and innovation as key enablers for smart cities, and on enhancing overall digital readiness in accordance with the standards set by the Digital Government Authority.
Dr. Satam Saud Al-Lenjawi, Chief Executive Officer of Wadi Jeddah, emphasized that this partnership reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to supporting digital innovation in the public sector by transforming research and development outcomes into practical digital solutions.
“Through our collaboration with Jeddah Municipality, we are charting a roadmap for digital innovation and transformation in municipal operations, boosting service efficiency, driving sustainability, and creating tangible impact on the quality of life in our cities,” he said.
