Sultan Of Oman, Turkish President Witness Signing Of Several Agreements, Mous
Muscat: Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan witnessed on Thursday the signing of a joint declaration and statement, six agreements, and eight memoranda of understanding, as part of the Turkish President's state visit to the Sultanate of Oman.
The signing included the establishment of the Omani-Turkish Coordination Council and capital sharing agreements between several companies from both countries.
The memoranda of understanding (MoUs) included cooperation in the fields of military, defense industries, technology, and innovation, strategic cooperation between the Oman Investment Authority and the Turkish Sovereign Wealth Fund, cooperation in the field of mining and rare metals, and a memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Information in the Sultanate of Oman and the Directorate of Communications of the Turkish Presidency.
