Turkish Defense Industry Prepare Showcase at SIDEC
(MENAFN) Turkish defense companies are set to participate in the International Defense Fair and Conference (SIDEC) in Slovenia, as announced by the defense and aerospace cluster SAHA Istanbul on Monday.
The event will begin on Tuesday and run through October 24. SAHA Istanbul, along with its member companies Aselsan, Roketsan, Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI), and Sarsilmaz, will join the fair under the Turkish Pavilion.
This pavilion is organized under the leadership of the Turkish Defense Industries Secretariat.
SIDEC is one of Europe's prominent defense and aerospace events, attracting 165 companies from 19 different countries.
During the fair, the SAHA Istanbul cluster will highlight Türkiye’s industrial strengths, aiming to enhance its technological networks and build strategic partnerships within Europe.
A key focus for SAHA Istanbul will be to advance its collaboration with GOIS, Slovenia's leading defense cluster, under the framework of a memorandum of understanding signed in 2023.
B2B meetings during the event will center on topics such as joint production, technology transfer, and supply chain integration.
These engagements are expected to bolster SAHA Istanbul's industrial diplomacy in Europe and promote the export-oriented growth strategy of the Turkish defense sector.
