
Exhibition To Mark Uruguay's Bicentennial Of Independence
Doha, Qatar: The Cultural Village Foundation – Katara, in collaboration with the Embassy of Uruguay in Qatar, will host an art exhibition titled“South Wind” to mark the Bicentennial of the Declaration of Independence of the Oriental Republic of Uruguay.
The exhibition, organised with the support of Uruguay's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, will open on October 24 at 6pm at Building 47, Katara Gallery. South Wind celebrates two centuries of Uruguay's independence through a vibrant collection of artworks that reflect the nation's rich cultural heritage, artistic traditions, and contemporary expressions.
The exhibition aims to strengthen cultural exchange between Uruguay and Qatar.
