Putin Lies When He Claims Occupation Forces Are Achieving Their Goals On Frontline Zelensky

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated this in his nightly video address , Ukrinform reports.

"The Russians' total losses in our Dobropillia counteroffensive operation already exceed 3,000, with most of them irrecoverable. That was where the Russians hoped to achieve one of their major breakthroughs along the front, but our forces are neutralizing them. And this is important. Putin lies to leaders who still talk to him when he claims that the occupation contingent is reaching any of its so-called goals," Zelensky said.

He stressed that for years Russia has been forced to invent new excuses for why its deadlines are constantly pushed back.

"It is telling that despite everything the world says to Russia, it continues to respond only with new assaults and new strikes on Ukrainian cities and infrastructure. They are truly sick with war, and whether they can be cured is an open question. The only thing that can force this Russian virus of war to stop is strength is strength, strong decisions and strong support," Zelensky said.

He recalled that during his visit to New York, he spoke with many partners, including U.S. President Donald Trump, who is very well-informed about the situation on the front, Russia's actions and its attempts to deceive everyone.

"We are talking with America about concrete measures that can stop this war. The solutions exist. What is important is that what we agree upon is actually implemented," Zelensky said.

During his visit to the United States, Zelensky's team held more than 30 events, including talks with U.S. President Donald Trump and a meeting between the first ladies of Ukraine and the United States.
