Kuwait Under-17 Soccer Team Beat Bahrain 3-2

DOHA, Sept 26 (KUNA) -- The Kuwaiti soccer team for juniors beat Bahrain's counterparts 3-2 on Friday in A match held as part of the third round of the first encounters of the Gulf Cup competitions for under 17.
Meanwhile, the Iraqi team beat the Saudis 2-1.
The Kuwaiti team did not qualify for the second round ranking third with four points, behind Iraq, leading with seven points and Saudi Arabia, second, with six. Bahrain came fourth with no score.
The tournament kicked off on Saturday with participation of Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Oman, Iraq, Bahrain and the UAE. (end)
