Dispute Over Goats And Sheep Turns Deadly In Mardan's Katlang, Two Brothers Killed, One Injured
A dispute over goats and sheep in Kohi Barmol area of Katlang tehsil, Mardan, turned violent on Thursday when gunfire erupted, leaving two brothers dead and a third seriously injured.
According to Rescue 1122, the deceased were identified as 24-year-old Saleem-ur-Rehman and 22-year-old Ghani-ur-Rehman, while their 20-year-old brother, Ikram, sustained critical injuries. All three were sons of Rehmat Khan and residents of Kohi Barmol.

A Rescue 1122 medical team reached the scene after receiving information, provided first aid to the injured, and shifted him to hospital. The bodies of the deceased were also transported to hospital.
Police said the incident initially began as a dispute between the parties over goats and sheep, which escalated into a heated argument and eventually gunfire. An investigation has been launched.
