Russians Attack Sumy Community With Two Drones

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) This was reported on Telegram by the head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, Oleh Hrigorov, according to Ukrinform.

"At around 9 p.m., the enemy attacked the Sumy community with two strike UAVs. One drone was shot down in the air by the Defense Forces – the explosion could be heard by residents of the community," he wrote.

The second drone hit the Kovpakivsky district, but not in a residential area. There were no casualties, and the consequences are being clarified, the head of the region added.

As reported by Ukrinform, police in Sumy region neutralized a Russian aircraft-type UAV equipped with high-explosive and thermobaric warheads. The drone targeted a railway track but did not explode.
