
Shmyhal And Turkish Ambassador Discuss Drone Production
He thanked Turkey for its productive cooperation at all levels and for its“steadfast support in efforts to achieve a just peace.”
Both sides acknowledged the high level of collaboration between the defense sectors of Ukraine and Turkey, involving both government institutions and private companies.
The defense minister expressed gratitude to Turkey for constructing two corvette-class warships for the Ukrainian Navy and noted that personnel training for the first vessel is currently underway.
According to Shmyhal, the meeting also touched on cooperation in other areas, particularly in the development of UAVs.
The defense minister once again thanked Turkey for its fruitful partnership.
As previously reported by Ukrinform, Shmyhal and NATO Senior Representative in Ukraine Patrick Turner discussed ways to meet the priority needs of Ukraine's Defense Forces during their meeting.
