Dr. Mete Sefa Uysal is a Lecturer in Social and Political Psychology at the University of Exeter. He is currently serving as the co-editor-in-chief at the Journal of Global Environmental Psychology and as the professional development coordinator at the International Society of Political Psychology (ISPP) Early Career Committee. His research focuses on collective action and social movements, leadership, crowd behaviours, identity, intergroup relations and conflict, culture and violence. He was awarded the British Academy Newton International Fellowship in 2022 and the American Psychological Association's Peace Psychology Early Career Award in 2023.
