Transport Minister Chairs Meeting On Economic Modernization Vision Executive Program

Amman, July 26 (Petra) – Minister of Transport Wissam Tahtamouni chaired a meeting Saturday on the executive program of the Economic Modernization Vision for the years 2026-2029.
The meeting, which brought together the Chairperson of the Board of Commissioners of the Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission and the directors of Land Transport Regulatory Commission, Jordan Maritime Authority, Hejaz Railway Corporation and other officials, tackled projects that will be implemented under the executive program with indicators that the public can feel, generate job opportunities and enhance the investment environment in the transportation sector.
The minister stressed the importance of the projects and asked the ministry's bodies to come up with a comprehensive vision for priority projects covering all areas of land, sea, and air transport with an impact on better services, infrastructure, job creation and investment.
The ministry, she said, is committed to the Economic Modernization Vision through devising feasible programs with added value to the sector, pledging to monitor implementation of the projects incorporated into the program to ensure effective achievement.
The meeting is part of the government's preparations for the new phase of the Economic Modernization Vision, which aims to enhance the competitiveness and efficiency of vital sectors, including transport, a key investment lever.
