Amir Makes A Phone Call To The Syrian President
(MENAFN- Gulf Times) His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani held a phone call with his brother, President Ahmed Al-Shara, President of the sisterly Syrian Arab Republic.
During the call, HH affirmed Qatar's solidarity with the brotherly Syrian people and its full support for all measures aimed at strengthening Syria's unity, ensuring its territorial integrity, and preventing any attempts to destabilize it.
HH the Amir also reiterated the State of Qatar's firm position in condemning the Israeli attacks on Syrian territory, considering them a flagrant violation of Syria's sovereignty, the rules of international law, and the United Nations Charter, and a threat to the stability of the region.
For his part, the Syrian President expressed his deep gratitude to His Highness the Emir and the State of Qatar for their supportive stances toward Syria, appreciating His Highness's role in promoting security and stability in Syria and the region.
