Türkiye, Saudi Arabia Condemn Israeli Attacks

(MENAFN) Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and his Saudi counterpart, Faisal bin Farhan, discussed Israel's recent actions aimed at destabilizing the region during a phone call on Wednesday, according to Turkish diplomatic sources.

The conversation also focused on the ongoing attacks on Syria, which have disrupted efforts to establish stability within the country.

The ministers expressed that these aggressive operations need to cease as soon as possible.

On the same day, Israel conducted airstrikes on Damascus, targeting Syria’s Defense Ministry and areas near the presidential palace.

These strikes followed Israel’s renewed attacks in southern Syria’s Suwayda province, where Israel warned it would continue its operations unless Syrian forces withdrew.

The Syrian military had deployed troops to Suwayda to restore order after violent clashes between armed Druze and Bedouin groups resulted in at least 30 deaths.

The Israeli military asserts that the operations are aimed at protecting the Druze minority in the region.
