The UAE Embassy in Muscat has issued a safety advisory for Emirati citizens in Oman, warning of expected low clouds or fog on roads leading to Salalah.

Travellers are urged to exercise caution, follow local safety guidelines, and stay updated on weather conditions. In case of emergencies, citizens have been asked contact the embassy at 0097180024 or 0097180044444.

Registration in the Tawajudi service is also strongly recommended for timely assistance. The mission also emphasised the importance of following safety instructions issued by local authorities.

This advisory comes after a multi-vehicle collision on Friday in Dhofar involving three vehicles that claimed the lives of two Omanis and three Emiratis. Among the 11 injured, nine were Emiratis, five of them children.
