Türkiye Stock Market Sees Slight Rise on Monday


(MENAFN) Türkiye’s main stock index, the BIST 100, saw a marginal rise at the opening bell on Monday, starting the session at 10,358.61 points—just 0.14 points higher than Friday’s close.

The previous trading day ended with the index gaining 0.26%, closing at 10,358.46 points. Trading volume on Friday reached 114 billion Turkish liras (approximately $2.83 billion).

By 10:25 a.m. local time (0725GMT), the Turkish lira was exchanging at 40.2070 against the US dollar, 46.9500 versus the euro, and 54.1520 per British pound.

Gold was priced at $3,369.90 per ounce, while Brent crude oil traded at $69.95 per barrel.
