Iraqi Kurdistan Region Downs Drone Near Irbil Airport No Casualties

IRBIL, July 14 (KUNA) -- Iraq's Kurdistan Region General Directorate of Counter-Terrorism said on Monday that it downed an explosive-laden drone near Erbil International Airport, reporting no casualties or damage.
The directorate added that the airport and nearby bases have previously faced similar drone or rocket attacks. (end)
