Ukraine Offers University Support For Students From Occupied Territories

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) This was announced by Andrii Yermak, Head of the Office of the President, in a post on Telegram , according to Ukrinform.

“The university admission campaign has begun in Ukraine. But for Ukrainian children still living in temporarily occupied territories, it's not just about entering university. It's a chance to come home. A chance to start a new life in free Ukraine – among their people, on their land. As part of President Zelensky's Bring Kids Back UA initiative, the state is providing comprehensive support to make this journey real and safe. We will assist at every stage – from leaving the occupied territory to processing documents, enrolling in university, and adapting,” Yermak wrote.

According to him, a special quota of state-funded university places has been allocated for applicants from the TOT across institutions throughout the country.

Yermak noted that taking the National Multi-Subject Test (NMT) is not required for these applicants - an interview is sufficient. These students are guaranteed a scholarship, free dormitory accommodation, and all benefits available to internally displaced persons (IDPs).

If an applicant does not have a Ukrainian passport or school certificate, assistance will be provided to obtain the necessary documents.

Yermak added that additional humanitarian and psychological support is available to anyone who needs it.
