Palestinian Presidency Welcomes Iran-Israeli Occupation Ceasefire, Demand One For Gaza

RAMALLAH, June 24 (KUNA) -- The Palestinian Presidency welcomed on Tuesday US President Donald Trump's announcement of a ceasefire agreement Iran and the Israeli occupation, appreciating the efforts made to de-escalate the situation.
According to the Palestine News and Information Agency (WAFA), the Presidency stated that reaching a ceasefire was an important step towards achieving security and stability in the region through diplomacy and ending conflicts in accordance with international legitimacy and international law.
It added, "We demand the completion of this step by achieving a ceasefire that includes the Gaza Strip, to alleviate the suffering of our people and halt the killing and starvation, thus achieving comprehensive security and stability in the region, considering that resolving the Palestinian issue in accordance with international legitimacy is what leads to a lasting, real, and stable peace."
