Head-on car collision claims four lives, injures students in Brazil
(MENAFN) A tragic head-on collision between a car and a school bus in southern Brazil's Parana state on Sunday afternoon resulted in the deaths of four members of a single family, including a seven-year-old child. The local Fire Department reported that four other individuals sustained injuries in the accident, which occurred on federal highway BR369 in the municipality of Cambara.
The Federal Highway Police report that the car, while trying to pass a line of vehicles, crashed into a school bus coming from the opposite direction. Tragically, all four people in the car died at the scene. Meanwhile, four students aboard the school bus sustained injuries and were taken to the hospital.
The school bus was carrying 15 teenagers to Cambara Agricultural College, situated in a prominent agricultural area of Parana state. Investigations are underway to determine the details leading to this deadly accident.
