Iran: Doors Still Open For Indirect With US On Nuclear File Possible

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) TEHRAN, March 27 (KUNA) -- Kamal Kharrazi, head of Iran's Strategic Council on Foreign Relations, said on Thursday that all doors were still opened for indirect talks with the US on the country's nuclear file.
According to the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA), Kharrazi indicated that Iran was ready for indirect talks with the US; however, the outlines of such negotiations must be determined prior.
The official stressed that the US must be clear with its intentions regarding such talks, underling the importance of mutual respect away from language of "threats and pressure".
On March 12, Iran received a letter from US President Donald Trump submitted by the UAE. The details of the letter were not disclosed.
According to US media outlets, Trump revealed, in a message directed to Iran Supreme leader Ali Khamenei on March seventh, that Iran should negotiate a new nuclear deal. (end)
