Doha: March 30, 2025 is expected to be the first day of Eid al-Fitr 1446 AH, the Qatar Calendar House announced Tuesday.

A Qatar Calendar House statement said the announcement was based on astronomical calculations conducted by its specialists.

Qatar Calendar House's Executive Director Eng. Faisal Al Ansari said the crescent moon for this year's Shawwal (the 10th lunar month) will be born on the evening of Saturday March 29 at 1:58 pm Doha local time (10:58 am GMT).
