Turkey’s yearly inflation reduces to 17-month drop of 47.09 percent in November


(MENAFN) Turkey’s year-on-year inflation volume declined to 47.09 percent in November, showing its least stage since June 2023, based on formal figures published Tuesday.

The decrease reflects the sixth sequential month of reducing inflation, a drop from October's 48.58 percent, TurkStat released.

Energy prices revealed huge break, with yearly surges lowering to 46.08 percent in the previous month compared to 59.37 percent in October.

Food and non-alcoholic drinks price climb, in contrary, enhanced to 48.57 percent yearly in the last month, versus 45.28 percent in October.

Central inflation, which includes unstable products such as energy as well as food, also reduced faintly to 47.13 percent in the previous month.

Month-on-month, the consumer prices index increased at the least speed since June at 2.24 percent last month, a drop from 2.88 percent in October.
