Defence Forces Use Effective Ways To Counter Russian Cruise Missiles - Navy

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) The Ukrainian armed forces are using effective ways to counter cruise missiles launched by Russia from the sea.

This was stated by Dmytro Pletenchuk, spokesman for the Ukrainian Navy, on the air of the United News telethon, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"During the period of the full-scale invasion, the Armed Forces have studied this weapon [Russian cruise missiles] and are using successful ways to counter it. For example, when the enemy uses missiles as a separate type of weapon, sometimes the rate of their downing reaches 100%. In addition, the technical characteristics that the enemy declared before the use of missiles differ from the actual characteristics," the navy spokesman said.
