Russians Intensify Assault Operations Near Hlyboke In Kharkiv Region


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Since the beginning of the day, there have already been 5 military clashes in the Kharkiv region near the settlements of Hlyboke and Vovchansk.

According to Ukrinform, the press service of the Kharkiv military operation reported this on Telegram .

"The situation remains difficult and tense in the operational area of the Kharkiv Joint Task Force. In the area of Hlyboke, the enemy has intensified assault operations. In Vovchansk, the enemy is moving assault groups, replenishing ammunition and actively conducting aerial reconnaissance. There were 9 combat engagements over the last day," the statement said.

As noted, the enemy launched 26 air strikes against the positions of Ukrainian troops, using 50 UAVs. The areas of Vesele, Lyptsi, Hlyboke, Starytsia, Vovchanski hutory, Ruska Lozova and Pytomnyk were targeted.

The occupants launched 32 strikes with kamikaze drones and fired 479 times at the positions of the Ukrainian Defence Forces.

Over the last day, 5 combat engagements took place in the areas of Hlyboke and Vovchansk.

The Ukrainian Defence Forces continue to effectively destroy the manpower and military equipment of the Russian occupiers.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, the total combat losses of Russian troops in Ukraine from 24 February 2022 to 26 July 2024 amounted to about 572,300 people , including 950 people over the previous day. In addition, the Defence Forces destroyed 8,320 (+7) tanks, 16,050 (+11) armoured combat vehicles, 15,840 (+36) artillery systems, 1,125 (+0) MLRS, 904 (+0) air defence systems, 363 (+0) aircraft, and 326 (+0) helicopters, operational and tactical UAVs - 12,683 (+73), cruise missiles - 2,402 (+0), ships/boats - 28 (+0), submarines - 1 (+0), vehicles and tankers - 21,414 (+56), special equipment - 2,668 (+7).
