Ajman Department Of Finance Participates In“Our Happy Summer 2024” With The“Digital Adventure” Programme

(MENAFN- Mid-East) The Ajman Department of Finance has introduced the“Digital Adventure” programme at the“Ajman X” Centre, marking the beginning of its participation in the fifth edition of“Our Happy Summer 2024,” part of the Ajman Government's summer initiative. This programme aims to enrich the summer experience for the Ajman community across all age groups and enhance the quality of life in the emirate.

His Excellency Marwan Al Ali, Director General of the Department, emphasised the significance of the targeted educational training programs developed by the Department to hone students' skills, nurture their talents, and ensure they keep pace with the evolving demands of the era. The goal is to foster active partners in building a sustainable future for the Emirate of Ajman and the United Arab Emirates. He highlighted that the department has prepared six programmes offering vital and rich experiences targeting various segments of society from the age of five years and above. These programmes intend to develop the creative skills of the participants, enrich their knowledge, and enhance their personal capabilities in several fields, wishing everyone a rewarding journey that contributes to raising their quality of life and happiness.

Over the course of three days, the programme provides children and adolescents, from the age of five to fifteen years, with an overview of the concept of mental arithmetic, its benefits, and its effect on the brain. Participants will learn to calculate mentally without any traditional or electronic aids, using fingers or the“Magic Finger”, and then learn how to find solutions to arithmetic operations using the Japanese abacus“Abacus”.

The next workshop in the department's“Our Happy Summer 2024” programme is titled“Content Creation.” This workshop offers a broad segment of society the chance to explore the art of crafting engaging marketing content for social media platforms. It is designed to assist children in channelling their passion and talents into potential future income sources, while also supporting small and home-based business owners in professionally promoting their products and services to boost sales and expand their businesses.

Students aged thirteen to eighteen years can look forward to the“Financial Leader” workshop, through which the department, in cooperation with Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank, will provide a valuable opportunity for participants to engage in activities and experimental projects aimed at providing them with essential financial leadership skills and enhancing their capabilities in financial planning and team leadership.

The summer community activities devised by the department will return next August with the“Financial Planning” workshop, introducing participants to the world of banking products and enriching their knowledge by leveraging them effectively. Additionally, the“Artificial Intelligence and Its Impact on the Future” workshop will introduce children to the concept of artificial intelligence and its impact on the lives of societies now and in the future through fun, interactive, and educational activities. Furthermore, the youth of the future will engage in the“Future Wallet” workshop, where they will learn the basics of financial planning, saving, preparing personal budgets, and how to invest money wisely.

All programmes are held in an interactive environment, rich in knowledge and fun to enhance the spirit of participation and creativity among participants. Everyone still has the opportunity to visit the department's accounts on social media platforms to learn about these programmes and register.
