Azerbaijani, Kazakh Associations Of Tourist Guides Sign Co-Op Memorandum

BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 23. The Associations of
Tourist Guides of Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan have signed a
memorandum of cooperation, Trend reports.
The signing took place within the framework of the
Kazakhstan-Azerbaijan tourism forum, which was held at the Kazakh
Embassy in Baku with the participation of Vice-President of the
Association of Guides of Azerbaijan Rufat Aliyev and Vice-president
of the Association of Guides of Kazakhstan Alexander
Akhnazarov.
Additionally, a B2B session for the leaders of tourist agencies
from both countries was held as part of the forum.
During the forum, representatives of Kazakhstan's tourism
industry informed the participants about popular tourist routes in
the country, showcased Kazakhstan's unique and picturesque nature,
and provided detailed information about the upcoming 5th World
Nomad Games, which will be held on September 8-14 in Astana.
Last year, 58,000 Kazakh tourists visited Azerbaijan, and from
January through June 2024 alone, more than 38,000 Kazakh tourists
visited the country.
