(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency)
Amman, July 8 (Petra) -- Most regions of the Kingdom on Monday will experience seasonal summer weather, with hot conditions prevailing in the desert, Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Some low clouds are expected in the northern and central regions, accompanied by moderate northwesterly winds, which will occasionally become active.
According to the Jordan Meteorological Department, temperatures are set to rise slightly on Tuesday, bringing relatively hot weather to most areas and hot conditions to the desert, Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Winds will remain moderate from the northwest, occasionally becoming active in desert regions.
On Wednesday, the Kingdom will experience a significant rise in temperatures due to a hot air mass moving in from the Arabian Peninsula. This will result in temperatures climbing 4-5 degrees Celsius above the seasonal average. Consequently, most areas will experience hot weather, while the desert, Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba will face scorching conditions. Moderate northwesterly winds will persist, occasionally becoming active in the desert.
Today's forecast temperatures for various locations are as follows: East Amman 33 C to 22 C, West Amman 31 C to 20 C, northern highlands 28 C to 18 C, Shara highlands 29 C to 19 C, Dead Sea 41 C to 28 C, and Gulf of Aqaba 42 C to 29 C.
