Global Campaign To Raise Funds For 100 Attack Drones For DIU Launches

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) To strengthen the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, a charitable organization is launching a global campaign to raise funds for drones.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the press service of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine.

"The charitable organization Help Heroes Of Ukraine has initiated a global fundraising campaign to strengthen the Military Intelligence of Ukraine with attack drones ," the statement said.

As noted, the goal of the project is to purchase 10 unmanned aerial systems, each of which has 10 combat drones, for one of the DIU's active operations units.

"To purchase a hundred strike UAVs for Ukrainian reconnaissance men, we need to raise USD 400,000," the press service said.

As Ukrinform reported, the Defense Resources Agency under the Lithuanian Ministry of Defense signed contracts with manufacturers for the purchase of various unmanned systems totaling about 36 million euros .
